Unmemorable Summary of a Memorable Life

I read the synopsis before starting the book. As one might have anticipated, it was dry and unmemorable, and in no way enticed me to read the real thing. But I did start reading Believer and am glad I didn't let the dryness of the 15 minute version prevent me from doing so. The book is very readable and the stories are memorable. My advice is to skip the summary unless you have to know what the book says but have no time to sit down and enjoy the real thing.
