Another great reference by perez!

Another excellent book by Perez! Combined with his first book i learned plenty of tips to create full fledged rpg's faster. What used to take months now l can get a core game done in a week.

For reference i also use rpg maker for teens (which covers vx) and my mechanics/numbers use the d20 system (because why reinvent the wheel?)

Required reading this election season.

Despite the age of this book, it's even more timely now than when it was originally written. If you want to find out about the man behind the self-created myth, this is a good place to start. Be warned: you will not sleep well afterwards. Reading it, one feels like a steerage passenger aboard the Titanic reading a book about hypothermia.

Readable and very insightful

Excellent journalistic account contrasting the facts of the Short Fingered Vulgarian's many business failures with Der Apfelstrudelfuhrer's spin about himself. The man routinely cheated investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars, while using the businesses he controlled to pay off his personal debts and fund his lavish lifestyle. Very readable insight into a puerile, arrested adolescent, trust fund baby. The guy bankrupted three casinos at a time when casino gambling was enjoying a nationwide boom: but he achieved his one goal, being the center of attention.

Trump sued to stop it, not because he thought it was unfavorable to him, but simply because it estimated his net worth at much less than Trump claimed. Trump lost. The book is full of enlightening details of Trump's business failures and successes.

Ok, I picked up this book because I'd seen it mentioned on FB and saw the cover and thought "Oh, a hot rockstar Book", Boy was I right and wrong. Right because Donavan is one hell of a rock star, but he's also sweet and down to earth. Heather struck a deep cord with me because I too had a brain tumor removed, twice. I love this story, that Donavan proves he more than what Heather thinks is a normal rock star and that Heather went through some tough s*** and came out with a man that stood by her, took care of her, and most of all loves her.

I bought this book because 1: Part of the money goes towards an awesome charity! 2: Because of Matt DiRito (I am a Big Pop Evil fan and the guys are absolutely AMAZING) and 3: Because I like a good romance novel. Now for the review. The book was well written. There were a few eyebrow raising moments but overall the book was easy to read. I, being a really headstrong and independent woman, struggled a bit with some of the more "possessive" moments, but by the end the dedication and sweetness of Donovan leveled it out. I recommend this to most women, but I do forewarn other headstrong, independent girls that it might set off some grumble sessions. Theresa is a great author and as a music fan this book was, at least in part, a fangirl's dream come true. Keep up the good work!

This one is NOT a keeper

I usually keep every paperback book I purchase; however, I will not be keeping this one. Colleen Davis' father is an alcoholic and is dying of related problems. He also was physically abusive toward his older daughter, Violet and was emotionally abusive toward the children's mother. Colleen's mother couldn't tolerate her husband's drinking and his abusive behavior so she leaves but apparently sees nothing wrong with leaving her children in the home to have to tolerate their father's behavior. Violet comes home to visit her father in the hospital and then spends the entire book trying to get up enough courage to actually enter the hospital. Violet also for some poorly explained reason is extremely hostile toward Colleen, whom she has not seen for many years. Colleen blames herself for her parents divorce years earlier but is hostile toward both of them and also is hostile toward her older sister who she believes should have stayed at home to help take care of her after their mother left. She spends a great deal of time trying to get her sister to reconcile with their father though she herself is not really reconciled to her sister, her mother, or her father. Vince is the sheriff who is Colleen's love interest but he can't bring himself to step foot in a hospital because his mother died in one years ago. He thinks "like some old horror movie, people check in but they don't check out". (I believe that was actually a commercial for a roach motel where the roaches checked in but didn't check out!) All of the five main characters in the book are so messed up that I couldn't like them and didn't really care what happened to them. I was very disappointed with this book.
